Project Overview

The entry way at this house was in dire need of updating and we decided to take it a step even further. The front room just to your right as you walked in was sunken and we raised it to the level of the rest of the area and brought hardwood flooring in throughout. The result was a much more inviting and fluid entry that brings all the adjoining rooms together, making the space not so compartmentalized. The stairs were built for carpet but our carpenters restructured the framing to allow for the hardwood to be installed up the staircase. Custom railings, nosings, spindles, and wall cap really finish off the function and look. Robust and built to last.
